My name is Gregorio Hagelin – Portrait photographer in Stockholm

I have been photographing since 2006, driven by a curiosity to understand people and environments through the lens. From magnificent landscapes and architecture to intimate portraits and nature’s smallest details, every image is a story I want to tell with honesty and emotion.

My heart beats a little extra for portrait photography. What fascinates me the most is capturing people just as they are – without masks and without pressure. With the help of psychology, calm and trust, I create an environment where the person in front of the camera can relax and dare to show their real self.

I am also drawn to the stillness and beauty of nature, from the thin structures of the flower petals to the small worlds that are only revealed through the macro lens. It is a way of seeing the extraordinary in the everyday.

Many of the people I photograph say they never thought they could feel so natural during a photo session. For me, that’s the biggest compliment – when the camera becomes invisible and the meeting becomes real.

I am based in Stockholm and always open to new creative collaborations, especially with those who are passionate about performing arts, dance, music, nature – or simply want to discover a new side of yourself in front of the camera.
